Chole Kachalu Chaat

White chole are a very good Protein source. I prepared this very easy to make chole kachalu chat for our Brkfast in few easy steps.
Here we go....
Soak  1 catori white chole overnite & Pressure cook them. They should turn out like this:
Now Pressure cook 3 big Kachalus (4-5 whistles). They should be nicely done.I guess it's called Taro root in English. Generally available in hilly areas. A pic for you:
And most important Mint/Coriander Chutney. (Grind Mint & coriander leaves, 1 green chillie, lemon juice, salt,anar dana together in a grinder)

And now Mash half of the Chole with the help of a stapula to add some texture to your chatpati chaat.
Peel Kachalus n cut them into small dices.Mix Them with Chole. Garnish with chopped Onion,
 Green chillie,totatoes, coriander leaves.
Finally garnish with chutney,jeera powder,salt n pepper.

White Chole: Also called Kabuli Chana/ White Chikpeas.
Also known as Garbanzo beans belong to the legume family or pulses. Studies show that they are an excellent source of Manganese, Tryptophan, Fiber, Folate, and Molybdenum and provide essential nutrients like Phosphorus, Iron, Copper and Protein.  They are used to make delicacies like Curried Chole, falafels and hummus.
